1. Purpose of the site

The site presents ZH-ISTMED's telemedicine services and lets you send an appointment request. It does not, by itself, provide a consultation.

2. Not an emergency service

The site and the appointment request form are not suitable for urgent situations. In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For non-urgent health advice, you can also call 811 (Info-Santé).

3. No medical advice on the site

The content of the site is provided for general information. It does not replace an assessment by a healthcare professional and does not constitute medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment.

4. Appointment requests

Sending the form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. An appointment is confirmed only once our team has contacted you and agreed on it with you. We cannot guarantee that a professional will be available for every request.

You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information, and to send a request only for yourself or for a person who has authorized you to do so.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• send false requests, or requests on behalf of another person without their authorization;
• attempt to disrupt the site or gain unauthorized access to its systems;
• use automated means to send requests or extract the content of the site.

6. Intellectual property

The ZH-ISTMED name, the logo, the texts and the design of the site belong to ZH-ISTMED or are used with permission. Any reproduction without written permission is prohibited, except for personal, non-commercial use. The illustrative images on the site were generated by artificial intelligence.

7. Personal information

How we handle your personal information is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Availability and liability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the site available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that it will be free of interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, ZH-ISTMED is not liable for damages resulting from the use of the site or the inability to use it. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the law, including the Consumer Protection Act.

9. Links to other sites

The site may contain links to external sites, such as that of the Commission d'accès à l'information. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it.

10. Governing law
